Brooklyn Bassoon was created to introduce more students to the joys of playing the bassoon. The video lessons will introduce instrument assembly, bassoon embouchure, and fingering diagrams.
The episodes of this lesson series will guide students through the Standard of Excellence Method Book written by Bruce Pearson. This is the preferred method used by Brooklyn Bassoon teacher, Matthew Peterson. Additional knowledge shared by Mr. Peterson has been gathered through his teaching career and other fantastic educators and clinicians he has studied with whilst earning a Master of Music Education from the American Band College of Central Washington University.
