  1. Make sure you read the orange box at the top of the page!

  2. Half notes get 2 beats, or foot taps of sound

  3. Half rests look like top hats you can put on your head

  4. Half rests get 2 beats of SILENCE.

  5. Take a quick sip of air when you see a breath mark
